Mechanical Engineer

Role: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Gwarinpa, Abuja
Salary: ₦200,000 per month
Gender: Male/Female

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
• Minimum of OND/HND/B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment installation, maintenance, and engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and engineering design/software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) is an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and oversee mechanical systems, equipment, and engineering processes.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, reports, and other engineering documentation.
• Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
• Diagnose technical issues and recommend effective engineering solutions.
• Coordinate with project teams and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing technical specifications and evaluating equipment and materials.
• Prepare regular progress reports and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and performance.
